New York Wedding, Honeymoon & Anniversary Private Jet Charter

Jet Charter NYC arranges private flights for New York couples and their guests, whether the occasion is a destination wedding, a honeymoon or an anniversary trip.

Weddings in the Hamptons and New England

If your wedding is out east, guests can fly into the airports at East Hampton or Westhampton Beach. Summer weekends in the Hamptons are busy from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with most people flying out on Thursday and back on Sunday, so book early for a wedding weekend in those months. Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard and Boston are short flights from New York, and a small jet or turboprop can bring a group of guests in together.

Bringing guests from several cities

When family and friends live in different parts of the country, a charter can stop in one or two cities to collect them and bring everyone to the wedding at the same time. Give us a realistic guest count and the cities they are coming from, and your advisor will work out whether one larger aircraft or two smaller ones makes more sense. For a large wedding party, ask about group charter on an airliner-size aircraft.

Honeymoons

The honeymoon flight can leave from the airport closest to home the day after the wedding, on your schedule. Couples from New York often head to the Caribbean in winter or to Europe. For an international trip, landing permits are applied for after the trip is booked and paid, and the local airport authority sometimes sets that timeline. Your advisor will tell you if your destination needs extra time.

Anniversaries and surprise trips

If the trip is a surprise, tell us, and we will keep the details between you and your advisor. Champagne, a cake or a favorite meal on board can be requested when you book, and we will confirm what the operator can arrange. Our super-midsize jets page shows the kind of cabin that suits a longer trip for two.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.

New York-Specific Patterns We Plan Around

New York has more airports to choose from than almost any other city, and the right one depends on where you are starting from on the ground. Teterboro, about eight miles from Midtown, is usually the closest to Manhattan and has a 100,000 lb operating-weight limit, Westchester County Airport in White Plains suits Westchester and Greenwich, and Republic and MacArthur serve Long Island. LaGuardia, JFK and Newark take private flights too, but each needs a reservation or approval under an FAA order, so we usually start elsewhere. Several of these airports can clear a flight arriving from abroad. Air traffic control delays reach the business-aviation airports as well as the airline ones, and from roughly November through March, de-icing can add time to a departure.
